Position: Vendor Risk Management Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Stipend- 15k

Types of Disability- Low vision, Hard of Hearing, Locomotor disability (without any support)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize the Supplier Change Notice (SCN) tool to manage vendor onboarding processes for both new and reactivated vendors, as well as existing vendors undergoing review.
  2. Perform risk assessments on vendors using the Moody's Catalyst tool, analyzing results to determine risk levels (Green, Amber, Red).
  3. Communicate risk assessment findings to the GP team via the SCN tool, highlighting any vendors requiring further assessment or rejection.
  4. Collaborate with various teams as required to facilitate exceptional risk assessments for vendors flagged as Amber or Red, ensuring timely resolution and communication of outcomes.
  5. Follow up with GP to ensure closure of action items for all rejected vendors, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  6. Generate and maintain reports and dashboards within the workflow system, providing regular updates on vendor risk status to stakeholders.
  7. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the risk assessment process in the Moody's tool, staying informed of updates and best practices.
  8. Take ownership of end-to-end vendor risk testing processes, ensuring thorough evaluation and closure of rejected vendors.
  9. Demonstrate basic knowledge of finance and risk management principles to support informed decision-making.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Prior experience working in vendor risk management or procurement preferred.
  • Familiarity with vendor management tools such as Moody's Catalyst and Supplier Change Notice (SCN) tool is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify potential risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and BI.
