Job Description

The position requires an individual to join our EMEA Corporate Tax team to deliver high-quality output, whilst managing a portfolio of deliverables, along with an ability to interpret and apply technical rules and regulations. The team is seeking an experienced individual with a strong tax skillset who will hold the responsibility for tax reporting and compliance for the EMEA region with a strong focus on the UK. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage compliance, forecasting and provisioning for tax reporting within the UK and EMEA region. 
  • Calculate corporate income tax and deferred tax accounting entries. 
  • Overseeing the preparing of tax disclosures in financial statements 
  • Reviewing the calculation of effective tax rates for IFRS and GAAP reporting 
  • Manage corporate income tax return submissions and regulatory audit responses. 
  • Collaborate across tax, finance and wider teams to deliver projects and manage risk. 
  • Support and coach staff through technical and non-technical training. 
  • Drive process improvements, automation and stakeholder engagement while supporting wider reporting needs.

 

Job Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Fully qualified tax or accounting professional (CTA / CA / ACCA / ACA / CIMA) 
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar tax related role 
  • Corporate tax experience is essential (Ideally UK corporate tax) 
  • Strong tax reporting and compliance experience. 
  • Experience preparing and submitting tax returns. 
  • Exposure to financial statement tax disclosures. 
  • Experience with Oracle TRCS would be nice to have  
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is highly advantageous.
