Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing and growth strategy for a fast-growing e-wallet and digital payments platform company . The CMO will drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention, while building a trusted financial brand that resonates with consumers and partners.

This leader will shape the go-to-market strategy, manage brand communication, and ensure our marketing investments deliver sustainable growth and profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to grow active users, transactions, and revenue.
  • Coordinate with the executive team to define the company’s brand positioning, vision, and customer experience.
  • Lead market expansion strategies-

2. Brand & Communications

  • Build and evolve a strong, trusted, and differentiated e-wallet brand.
  • Oversee all marketing communications advertising, PR, content, and digital presence.
  • Manage crisis communications and ensure compliance with regulatory communication standards in fintech.

3. Growth & Performance Marketing

  • Own user acquisition and lifecycle marketing across all digital and offline channels.
  • Develop and optimize campaigns for customer acquisition, activation, retention, and reactivation.
  • Lead performance marketing initiatives

4. Product Marketing

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define product positioning, launch strategies, and user education campaigns.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform product improvements and feature adoption strategies.

5. Customer Insights & Analytics

  • Build a deep understanding of customer segments, behavior, and motivations through research and data analytics.
  • Use analytics to guide marketing investment decisions.

6. Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth

  • Drive co-marketing opportunities with merchants, financial institutions, telecoms, and other ecosystem partners.
  • Strengthen relationships with regulators and industry associations through brand credibility and responsible marketing.

7. Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and mentor a world-class marketing team, covering growth, brand, creative, and analytics.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and accountability.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in fintech, digital payments, or consumer tech).
  • Proven track record in driving user growth and engagement for digital financial products or mobile apps.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels, performance marketing, CRM, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience in brand building, communications, and partnership marketing.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with solid analytical and financial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
