Job Description
The role:
Logistics Coordinator - Inbound team
Summary of the Role:
Responsible for being the main point of contact for assigned clients, and ensuring the optimal (timely, cost-effective) execution of sale contracts, while continually providing high-quality service to all involved stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Work with traders on position follow-up and any commercial issues with shippers
- Issue and send shipping instructions to our suppliers in due time
- Place booking with shipping lines where required & ensure internal database (SOL/Cargoo) accuracy.
- Work closely with relevant internal teams, shippers, brokers and logistics service providers to ensure the best customer service, data accuracy & efficient coordination (position check, effective back-up/ handover, etc.)
- Process shipping documents (including upload onto system) and payment to shippers
- Follow-up on potential Weight Claims with suppliers
- Monitor assigned position & payables with coffee suppliers
- Check all assigned service invoices to approve the costs
- Keep assigned shipper/ origin profiles up-to-date and liaise with Outbound teams effectively on related procedural changes where relevant
- Liaise with insurance team on onboarding of warehouse counterparties on CTRM and coverage of insured cases.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications and Education
- University graduate (BA or equivalent)
- Focus/ Major in Foreign Trade, Commodity Trading, Logistics or Management is a plus
- Other certifications are a plus
Experience and Technical Skills
- 2 to 3 years of working experience (compulsory)
- Experience in an international environment related to trade/ supply chain/ logistics
- Experience in coffee trade logistics is a plus
- Experience in Customer Service
- Knowledge/ practical experience in SAP
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Knowledge of collaborative tools (MS Teams, SharePoint,...)
- Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
- Knowledge of Incoterms
- Knowledge of ESCC is a plus
