Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Business Developer Pharmaceuticals to join our dynamic team in Al Khor, Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth and expand our pharmaceutical business through strategic partnerships and market opportunities in the region.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector within Qatar and the surrounding region
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company goals and drive market expansion
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential partners and customers
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the industry
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of business initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies
  • Prepare and present detailed business proposals and reports to senior management
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Stay informed about the Qatar healthcare system and pharmaceutical regulations to ensure compliance and identify growth opportunities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing partnerships and deals in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development processes, and regulatory landscape
  • In-depth knowledge of the Qatar healthcare system and pharmaceutical regulations
  • Proficiency in business development strategies and market analysis techniques
  • Advanced negotiation and project management skills
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with fluency in English and Arabic
  • Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach
  • Ability to travel as required for business meetings and industry events
