Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle components.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper performance.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Keep the work area clean and follow all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Experience using diagnostic scanners and hand/power tools.
- ASE Certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
