Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Golf Ops Attendant to join our team at a prestigious golf course in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Golf Ops Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional customer service to our golfers.

  • Greet and assist golfers, providing information about the course, tee times, and facilities
  • Manage tee time reservations and maintain an organized scheduling system
  • Operate the pro shop's point-of-sale system for merchandise sales and green fee transactions
  • Assist with golf cart operations, including cleaning, charging, and staging carts for play
  • Monitor pace of play and address any issues that arise on the course
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and surrounding areas
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down tournament events
  • Provide basic information about golf rules and etiquette to guests as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for the pro shop

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic knowledge of golf and understanding of golf course operations and etiquette
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including POS and scheduling software
  • Strong cash handling and basic math skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
  • Previous experience in golf course operations or hospitality industry preferred
  • Golf-related certifications are a plus but not required
