Job Description
- Operate and maintain various turf and landscaping equipment with precision
- Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks to uphold luxury standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and equipment operation guidelines
- Collaborate with the grounds maintenance team to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor course conditions and report areas needing immediate attention
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay current with industry practices
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and course conditions
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining turf and landscaping equipment
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Turf Management, Horticulture, or related field
- Certification from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA)
- Experience with irrigation systems and water management
- Knowledge of pest control and fertilization techniques
- Familiarity with golf course design principles and playability factors
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance tracking systems
