Job Description

 

  • Operate and maintain various turf and landscaping equipment with precision
  • Perform daily golf course maintenance tasks to uphold luxury standards
  • Adhere to safety protocols and equipment operation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the grounds maintenance team to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor course conditions and report areas needing immediate attention
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay current with industry practices
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and course conditions

 

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance or related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining turf and landscaping equipment
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Turf Management, Horticulture, or related field
  • Certification from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA)
  • Experience with irrigation systems and water management
  • Knowledge of pest control and fertilization techniques
  • Familiarity with golf course design principles and playability factors
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance tracking systems
