Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Oversee daily operations of your designated kitchen section, maintaining efficiency and organization
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and company standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes from your section
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Manage food costs, minimize waste, and control stock levels within your section
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service operations
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for improvement
- Adapt to changing needs and assist in other kitchen areas as required
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food trends
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in English with excellent communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and presentation
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost control
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to continuous learning
