Technical Support Specialist
This is a contract opportunity in Minneapolis, MN.
About this Position
We’re seeking an On-Site Technical Support Specialist to join the IT support team. This role ensures smooth IT operations by providing hands-on troubleshooting and support for AV systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, and a variety of hardware/software technologies. The ideal candidate is customer-service focused, detail-oriented, and eager to build their career in technology support.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide onsite support for PC, Mac, AV, application, and network connectivity issues.
• Manage and resolve ServiceNow tickets, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Support AV technologies including Microsoft Surface Hubs, Crestron, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Polycom, Cisco, and related equipment.
• Provide VIP/white glove support and assist with event/meeting technology setup.
• Handle asset management, including shipping, receiving, tracking, and hardware lifecycle.
Job Skills/Requirements
• 2+ years of onsite technical support experience or degree in related field.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience troubleshooting AV systems (Surface Hub, Crestron, Teams Rooms).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and support VIP users.
Additional Information
• Some travel may be required to support other locations or client sites.
• Occasional after-hours support may be required.
• Parking expenses covered.
Pay Range
• $25-30/hour
