Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Box Truck Drivers to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience driving a 22-foot box truck, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to safely transport goods while ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 22-foot Non-CDL box truck to transport goods to customer locations.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Assist with moving, lifting, and carrying items when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 22-foot box truck.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation in the New Jersey/New York area is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with moving, logistics, furniture delivery, or warehouse operations.
- Experience using GPS and electronic delivery applications.
